Kindly take note of the following policies to ensure a one-of-a-kind experience.

COVID-19 Policy & Safety Measures

Your health and well-being are our top priority. If you are experiencing any symptoms, have been in contact with a postiive case, or you have tested positive in the last 10 days, we kindly ask that you stay home. Please inform us as soon as possible so we can reschedule your appointment to a later date. Please note that we reserve the right to refuse treatments to anyone exhibiting symptoms.

Upon arrival, please use one of our touchless hand sanitizer dispensers to sanitize your hands.

To maintain a safe environment, we thoroughly sanitize our treatment rooms before every appointment using hospital-grade cleaning products.

Reservations

Appointments must be scheduled in advance to ensure availability. To secure your desired appointment date and time, we highly recommended booking ahead. Please note we do not take reservations through social media. Instead, kindly contact us via phone at 705-365-7211 or text message. Marita Thayer can be reached at 705-360-4446. We prioritize responding to voicemails in the order they are received and will return your call as soon as possible. A friendly reminder text message will be sent before your appointment, and we kindly ask that you confirm your reservation. Failure to respond or declining the confirmation will result in cancellation of the appointment.

Arrival Time

Please arrive no more than 5 to 10 minutes before your scheduled treatment time. New guests will be asked to fill out an intake form. To avoid disruptions to others guests’ appointments, it’s essential that treatments end at the scheduled time. If you anticipate being late, please contact us promptly.

Rescheduling & Cancellations

We understand that plans can change unexpectedly. To ensure fairness and maintain the quality of our services, we kindly ask that you provide us with at least 24 hours notice should you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Failure to do so will result in a cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of the scheduled spa service(s). This fee must be settled prior to scheduling any future appointments. Thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation in respecting our cancellation policy.

Anti-Harassment & Anti-Discrimination

Everyone is welcome at the Spa in the Woods.

Spa in the Woods Timmins is committed to providing an environment free of discrimination and harassment, where all individuals are treated with respect and dignity.

Under the Ontario Human Rights Code, every person has the right to be free from harassment and discrimination. Harassment and discrimination will not be tolerated, condoned or ignored at Spa in the Wood Timmins. We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service to anyone demonstrating behaviour that is perceived to be inappropriate or disruptive to the Spa atmosphere.

Children

Spa in the Woods Timmins welcomes guests of all ages. However, minors under the age of 13 must be accompanied by a guardian.

Special Assistance or Change of Condition

If you require any special assistance, please inform us at the time of booking. For existing clients, please notify us if there have been any changes to your health so that we can update your intake form and provide you with the best possible service.

Jewellery & Valuables

For your convenience and to ensure an uninterrupted spa experience, we recommend leaving your jewellery and valuables at home. We are not responsible for any lost or stolen items during your visit. Please remember to check your robe pockets before leaving.

Cell Phones & Cameras

To maintain a relaxing environment for all guests, we kindly request that cell phones be silenced during your spa visit. Taking photos or using cameras is only allowed with the permission of all guests present.

Smoking & Vaping

Smoking and vaping are strickly prohibited within the spa premises. 

Payment of Services

Please note that prices of treatments are subject to change without prior notice. We will make every effort to keep guests informed of any adjustments. We accept debit, VISA, Mastercard and cash as forms of payment.

Spa Gift Certificates

Indulge someone special with the gift of relaxation and well-being. Our gift certificates are available in any denomination and can be used towards treatments or products of their choice. When redeeming the gift certificate, please ensure that the physical gift certificate or digital gift card code is presented. Gift certificates are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash. We highly recommend booking appointments in advance to secure your preferred date and time.
